Welcome to the first module: Facing Your Fears! By facing your fears – what we’ll be doing is becoming deeply aware of any fears, blocks or resistance that might be stopping you from being creative.
To do this, I will lead you through two guided meditations and a series of cognitive practices - where you reflect on your emotions thoughts, behaviours and core beliefs. This approach asks you to examine your own inner worlds, to communicate with different parts of yourself and gain the answers you need from within. If you've never meditated before then don't worry - I will taking you step by step through this process and all you need to do is relax, close your eyes and focus on your breathing.
So here’s what you’ll need for this module:
You’ll need a room of your own. Inspired by Virginia Wolfe we all need a space of our own to create.
You’ll need some paper and pens or pencils. You’re going to be writing down thoughts feelings, memories and your reflections.
And you’ll need to be free of distractions from social media, phone calls, work emails, pets, children or anything else that might prevent you from fully engaging and being present.
