Best Vegan Garlic Bread Ever!
Yes, I promise you it truly is the best vegan garlic bread in the world and will have everyone begging for more! I found this recipe in Chef Chloe Coscarelli's first book 'Chloe's Kitchen' and had to make it! Below is the recipe every plant based person should have in their personal collection. You're welcome!
The Best Vegan Garlic Bread in the Multi-verse!
Recipe Type: Vegan accompaniment
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Total time: 25 minutes
Serves 8-10 people.
1 cup vegan margarine
½ cup nutritional yeast (I like mine super cheesy)
12 cloves of garlic, finely minced
1 teaspoon of salt
4 tablespoons of fresh parsley, finely chopped
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Combine first three ingredients in a microwave safe bowl with lid, microwave until melted 30-45 seconds. Or you can heat on stove top if you prefer. Stir in parsley.
Slice baguettes horizontally in two inch segments to nearly the bottom of the baguette. If you prefer, you can cut in half, depending on how you like garlic bread served. This is all about what you find most delicious, so choose whatever brings you the most happiness. With a knife spread the garlic butter generously, buttering both sides of the segment.
Wrap in aluminum foil and heat for 10-15 minutes, leave unwrapped if you like the top crusty, which is my personal preference.
Serve with pasta and salad, and be prepared to listen to everyone applaud your culinary prowess!
